Goddess Ishtar Talks Dominant Creativity, Career

Before Goddess Ishtar became a model, she majored in psychology and studied languages at college, with a focus on English, Latin and Hebrew. Originally, she planned to be an English teacher — but when a friend introduced Ishtar to the world of camming, it struck her as an appealing way to make money while doing something uniquely suited to her dominant personality.

Repurposing the teaching and communication skills she had honed over the years, Ishtar began imposing strict discipline as she trained men to be well-behaved submissives. She delighted in manipulating them using different techniques, forcing them do her bidding by teasing them. The more she learned about “mind control,” the less she gave men what they wanted, instead molding them to do what she wanted.

It can be intimidating, but I think every man should try being dominated at least once.

This only intensified her dominant streak, and she became even more strict and demanding. As more submissives flocked to her and she became more powerful, she imposed increasingly extreme forms of submission, including financial domination.

This month, Ishtar cracks the whip as our featured creator, revealing how she has managed to dominate the art of cultivating ardent fans.

XBIZ: How do you entice fans into exploring their submissive side with you?

Ishtar: Frankly, submitting to me is the only way to interact with me. Men have no choice but to submit to me if they ever want to talk to me. I start with teasing, and as I tease, I scan their responses as ways to investigate their brains, seeking triggers I can use to control them.

It can be intimidating, but I think every man should try being dominated at least once. It doesn’t have to be extreme or humiliating; it can be sensual domination like teasing and denial, jerk-off instructions or mind control.

XBIZ: Tell us about your audience and how you cultivate a sense of community.

Ishtar: While I might seem destructive, as one of my specialties is pushing men’s limits, I can also be very supportive. I create space for submissive men where they can express their submissive nature and be accepted by other members of the femdom community and by other subs.

Everyone has a chance to become part of the community by communicating with me or with other dommes and subs on social media. The only thing I do not accept is any form of aggression; that’s the only boundary I set for my audience.

XBIZ: What are your main revenue streams/platforms and how do you balance it all?

Ishtar: I started my career on CamContacts. For many years, my only source of revenue was doing one-on-one cam sessions and group sessions. Two years ago, I became a content creator and joined LoyalFans and IWantClips. Recently, I also joined Chaturbate.

Balance is always critical. In my opinion, one of the keys to success is to learn how to organize your work and do it systematically; otherwise, it won’t work. The more I expand my business, the busier I get — and the more challenging it is to balance the work.

XBIZ: Share a few of your main hobbies or passions you like to explore when you’re not working.

Ishtar: I guess I am lucky, because my work is my biggest passion, but of course, I love to do other things as well. I am a fitness addict. I love the beach; the sea calms and relaxes me while energizing my mind and body. In my spare time, I read books and watch movies. Lately, my main interests have been behavioral psychology, creative writing and digital marketing.

XBIZ: Tell us about your content and what’s most popular among your fans.

Ishtar: The findom stories that I post on my website ishtarxxx.com, and the recorded findom cam sessions that I sell in my clip stores on Loyalfans and iWantClips, are the most popular content among my fans. That content creates the sense of complete loss of control, whether through the vicarious experiences of others for those who have never tried it, or in the case of the subs themselves, through reliving those experiences.

XBIZ: What is the best way for fans to approach interacting with a financial domme?

Ishtar: By commenting on the domme’s posts on social media or fan club platforms, you support her. By sending her a direct message without sending a tip first, you waste her time, drain her energy, annoy her and destroy your relationship with her.

XBIZ: How do you approach staying healthy, mentally and physically?

Ishtar: I work out at least three times a week and try to eat healthily — although I do eat unhealthy foods occasionally. However, I have a tendency to burn myself out, as I love my work. So I have had to learn to stop when my body and mind need to, and enjoy doing other things to relax. I listen to podcasts from experts on how to keep your mind and body healthy; there is always something new to learn.

XBIZ: What are your main goals for the upcoming year?

Ishtar: Growing as a professional has always been my goal. My main goals for the upcoming year are to become a better content creator and learn new mind control and digital marketing techniques.
